Applications have to be exited before another can be started; this prevents a significant amount of crashing, unlike other high-end smartphones like the R.I.M. Blackberry or the HTC Touch.

The media player is on par with the quality that Apple is known for, and as such it is pretty impressive; for music, bass is rich, the trebles are high without being too ear-piercing and the middles are comfortably accentuated. However, the killer punch has got to be the video playback; no device on the market – except the much-vaunted Samsung HD Icon, perhaps – can match the iPhone for video playback, as the quality is truly amazing. Viewing angles are plentiful as well, so even if the device is turned forwards/backwards, the video will look as visually stunning.

Granted, the high price may warrant discretion before forking out; however, if you are searching for a do-it-all device that actually manages to accomplish all the tasks it sets out to, look no further than the magnum opus of Apple Inc. The phone aspects itself seems more of an add-on than an actual feature, but it does not let down either. Add to this the 3 megapixel camera with video recording, and you have the quintessential mobile powerhouse; for a device that will last the test of constant technological improvements, get the iPhone. 4 million+ consumers can’t be wrong.
