Battle Of The Smart Phones – Apple IPhone 3GS Vs BlackBerry Bold

This article has been bought to uou by Frankie Johnson. He has lost his iPhone a few times, and now has written a cool website on iPhone 3G insurance.

Mobile phones have changed the way people communicate. In the same way, smart phones, which provide computer-like functions, have changed the way people use their mobile phones.

Smart phones differ from ordinary mobile phones in two simple ways: how they are built and what they can do. Currently, the Apple 3GS iPhone and the BlackBerry Bold are arguably two of the best smart phones available in the market. Here’s how they match-up against each other:

DESIGN
The iPhone’s revolutionary touchscreen design has set the standard for future generations of smart phones. Nokia and Samsung have developed similar designs for their smart phones. There are also more than a hundred iPhone clones out in the market, all trying to cash in on the iPhone’s status. The 3GS iPhone looks virtually the same as its predecessor, the iPhone 3G. The Blackberry Bold is the best looking BlackBerry so far, but the iPhone’s design is an instant classic. Winner: iPhone 3GS

OPERATING SYSTEM
It takes a bit of time to get used to both the 3GS iPhone and the BlackBerry Bold. BlackBerry has always been known for usability focused on business applications. The BlackBerry phone has shortcut keys to get things done quickly, however, it’s still easier and faster to master the iPhone 3GS. Winner: iPhone 3GS

DISPLAY
The iPhone 3GS has a 3.5-inch screen with 320 x 480 pixels resolution and 16M colors. With a small 2.6-inch screen and only 16K colors, the Bold lags behind in this department not just against the iPhone but with other top smart phones as well. Winner: Apple iPhone 3GS

KEYBOARD
The BlackBerry Bold’s large keyboard took up some of the space that could have been used for the display but it’s worth it because it’s a pleasure typing in the full QWERTY keyboard, which has a sure and fast response. The iPhone’s virtual keyboard is flashy but it takes time to master fast and accurate typing. Though there’s an error correction system, it’s not reliable if there are a large number of mistakes. Functionality beats flashy in this round. Winner: BlackBerry Bold

APPLICATIONS
When it comes to applications, no smart phone comes close to the iPhone because it is the easiest platform to develop applications for. With thousands of developers creating millions of applications for the Apple App Store, the sky’s the limit for the Apple 3GS iPhone. Winner: Apple iPhone

SPEED & CONNECTIVITY
With an ARM Cortex A8 processor clocking 600 MHz and HDSPA speed up to 7.2 Mbps, it’s no wonder the ‘S’ in Apple iPhone 3GS stands for speed. However, the BlackBerry Bold is no slouch as it has a 624 MHz processor. Both smart phones are capable of communicating over Quad Band GSM network supporting frequency bands of 850/900/1800/1900, both are GPRS, EDGE and WiFi enabled, and both have Bluetooth A2DP support and USB Connectivity. While the BlackBerry Bold only has an HSDPA speed of 3.6 Mbps, there’s really no speed difference because there are currently no service providers that give 7.2 Mbps. Winner: Draw

CAMERA
The camera has been the iPhone’s “weakness” as a smart phone, but not over the BlackBerry Bold. The iPhone 3GS features a 3-megapixel camera with autofocus, a decent 640 x 480 resolution at 30fps and excellent audio. The BlackBerry Bold has a standard 2-megapixel camera with an LED flash. Winner: Apple iPhone 3GS

STORAGE
With 16GB and 32GB models, there’s no question that the iPhone 3GS trumps the BlackBerry, which only has 1GB of internal memory and can only support up to 8GB of external memory. Winner: iPhone 3GS

CALL QUALITY & BATTERY LIFE
Winner: Draw

THE VERDICT
The Apple iPhone 3GS is a worthy successor to its predecessors and the BlackBerry Bold is the best BlackBerry phone ever made. The iPhone 3GS is a consumer phone with something for everyone while the BlackBerry Bold maintains BlackBerry’s reputation as a business gadget. At the end of the day, it’s what the user needs that matters the most.

IPhone Wholesalers – Can You Really Find IPhone Wholesalers?

This article has been bought to uou by Frankie Johnson. He has lost his iPhone a few times, and now has written a cool website on iPhone 3G insurance.

Inevitably, items that sell well on eBay and any other market on the internet are bombarded by people trying to sell the products that are currently in high demand. As an eBay powerseller I only use the most reliable wholesale suppliers and also some of the best dropshippers around. The question that is often asked the most is where can I find reliable iPhone wholesalers. This question of course is popular due to the rate at which iPhones are selling. Looking to eBay, apple iPhones are one of the hottest products at the moment and people are paying above and beyond to get their hands on them.

Recently I decided to start selling the iPhones to see what profit margin I could average out on every 100. The results were staggering you really can make a lot of money with iPhones. Fom my experience the iPhone 32gb s is selling particularly well at the moment. It is these luxury goods that even in a recession can put your profitability through the roof.

Many people try to enter the field of selling on eBay but do not succeed. Why do people find it difficult to sell on eBay? Simple, the suppliers they have are all over the internet. They supply the products at close to retail prices, therefore leaving little to no profitability for the seller. This is why people wanting to sell iPhones do not succeed, they do not have access to the reliable and genuine iPhone wholesalers. There are some good iPhone dropshippers around, but you must be careful as there are also a vast amount of fakes out there. If you are dropshipping iPhones you may be lucky to scoop up $10-$20 profit per iPhone. The reality of it is in the long term you will not succeed as people who buy these iPhones on wholesale will run that profit margin down to maybe $2-$3 a piece.

You can not simply type iPhone wholesalers into google and expect to find suppliers that will make you thousands. In fact as an eBay powerseller I have had to learn this the hard way. I have many reliable suppliers including my supplier for apple iPhones. Searching google will simply return a list of iPhone suppliers that may sell refurbished or damaged goods and 90% of the time will return individuals who have set up a website and claim to sell iPhones. There are also the replicas that are commonly found in the chinese market. You could possibly sell these on eBay but you would need to state the chinese model and the fact that it is not an iPhone. You never want to trick someone into parting with their hard earned cash.

So can you really find iPhone distributors?

The answer is yes you can. I have been selling iPhones on eBay and many other market places for the last 3 months and the profits have been incredible. Each iPhone sells for roughly $150 profit. So when I sell 100 in a month I make over $15,000 dollars. This is not difficult, I sell roughly 4-5 iPhones a day and to date have 100% positive feedback on eBay. Obviously I bought the product myself from the wholesaler to inspect and ensure I was supplying quality items. You too could easily sell these iPhones, you just need the right suppliers.

Discover The Ins And Outs Of Top IPhone Clones

This article has been bought to uou by Frankie Johnson. He has lost his iPhone a few times, and now has written a cool website on iPhone 3G insurance.

Recently the iPhone clones have become the talk of the town, but most of us are not quite sure what exactly an iPhone clone is. In that case let us take a brief insight into the iPhone clones that are definitely giving the real Apple products a run for their money!! Now that these devices have become a part of the industry standard, many of the mobile companies are desperately trying to flawlessly mimic the features and looks of the original product. This is a clever step on their part to boost the market value of their economical imitations so that they come in par with the other strong competitions in the market.

However, it is generally observed that people usually tag all phones with a huge touchscreen and multi-touch display as an iPhone clone without even trying to understand that the phone can at times be even more innovative than the original product. Though it has been more than often seen that the popular iPhone clones are generally from China and are typically of a poor quality. Interestingly, even some popular companies have also come up with some models that look exactly like the iPhones and include some features that are even a shade better than the originals.

There are various ways in which we can decide upon the top 5 iPhone clones. If we view it on a broader spectrum, the list will first include the Samsung Instinct. This iPhone look-alike has GPS facility and the data transfer here is faster than its original counterpart. The second in the list is undoubtedly the Sony Xyperia. This iPhone clone is definitely one of the most stylish and much awaited phones of the year. Just like the iPhone it has a wide-screen display with touchscreen facility.

Next in the row is unquestionably the Deeda Pi, popularly called the ultimate iPhone clone. It is one phone that claims more than 95% imitation of the original product. Another clone of the Apple product is the LG Voyager. This smartphone uses a similar menu organization and even has an analogous dock on the bottom screen. These features bring it quite close to the original iPhone rating it fourth in the clone list. Finally, the discussion remains incomplete without mentioning the latest iPhone clone CiPhone-i88i. This Chinese product is an exact replica of the iPhone 3G, but only design wise. The phone lacks the 3G wireless network facility of the original product.

While talking of the iPhone clones, it would be unfair if we do not discuss the popular Chinese products that are the true imitators of the Apple iPhones. The products are named precisely as IPhon, ILeaf, Tphone, miniOne from Meizu, C-002, iPhone Nano, CECT P168, CECT T5 T32, Cool999, EPhone, LiPhone and so on. Of these, the IPhon looks very similar to the iPhone 3G while the ILeaf is a very poor clone of the original device. The C-002 is almost a complete iPhone clone with a good market value. The iPhone Nano is called so because it looks like an iPhone but is of the size of the iPod Nano.

Most of these phones share the common features of an iPhone like 5 separate keys for all basic operations, around dozen speakers that give surround sound facility, 1.3 mega pixel camera and dual SIM support to name just a few. However, since most of us like to go for branded products, it is advisable that we check the phones thoroughly before buying them. One major point of identification is the Apple logo that is found only on the original device. This will save us from all kinds of frauds and will also help us to get the product of our personal choice.
